Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
• What you put in: buy box criteria, listing links and text you paste, alert emails you forward to your personal address, and any overrides or notes.
• Billing: if you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. We receive your subscription status and a Stripe customer ID, never your full card number.
• Basic technical data: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, and standard server logs from our hosting provider (such as IP address and browser type) used for security and debugging.

How we use it

To run the service: score listings against your buy box, show your ranked deals, send the weekly digest if you turn it on, handle billing, answer support requests and keep the service secure. We may also add your email to our own mailing list so we can send product updates; every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information. We don't use advertising trackers. We don't scrape listing websites.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run BuyBox Screener: hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), payments (Stripe), email delivery, and our email marketing tool. They process data for us under their own security and privacy terms.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is open. To export or delete your account, contact us by mail at 4406 E Main St, Suite 102 PMB 1015, Mesa, AZ 85205 (support email coming soon; see Contact); we'll remove your buy boxes, listings and account data, except records we must keep for legal or tax reasons (such as payment records).

Your choices

You can edit or delete listings and buy boxes at any time, turn the weekly digest off in Account settings, and unsubscribe from marketing emails. Depending on where you live you may have extra rights (for example to access or correct your data); contact us and we'll help.

Children

BuyBox Screener is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way we'll update the date above and let account holders know.
